Our
Story
Pink Lily Literature is a woman owned and led literary magazine. We were founded in March, 2024 by Catherine Cummins, an undergraduate psychology and creative writing major at the University of Richmond. She chose the name based on what pink lilies symbolize: admiration, soft love, sweetness, and femininity. Our founder wants the symbolism to be felt throughout the magazine.
Pink Lily publishes poetry, prose, and art.
The Pink Lily Mission
We aim to publish emerging female writers and artists to support their creative growth. Pink Lily Literature hopes to bring a platform to a diverse group of ladies by giving a voice to women of all races, ethnicities, socio-economic backgrounds, women in the LGBTQ+ community, etc.

Women have historically been ignored and put down in society, so Pink Lily Literature serves as a way to uplift our female creatives!
